Freshie Luncheon
But the best part were these delicious looking chocolate covered strawberries that look almost as amazing as they tasted. One of these days I'm going to make some. They were amazing.
Too bad I didn't take a picture of when the chocolate bits fell off. The pattern of the strawberries outside, complete with indentations for the little seeds, was beautiful...
Or maybe I was just hungry =)
I just realized my camera died...no picture =( but imagine a fatty strawberry with really nice milk chocolate all over it. Doesn't do it justice but it'll have to suffice.
Till later luvlies.

relaxation on a wednesday afternoon
Note: This stuff looks almost as revolting as it looks when on your face.
But don't worry, its all in the name of beauty =)
Plus, there's no nasty chemicals in it.
This is possibly the easiest preparation for a facial mask, And you can make out of common household food items! It's awesome and left my skin feeling very soft and smooth.
This mask uses honey, yogurt, and ground oatmeal. The proportions are different every time I make it, but in the end you want a consistency that isn't too watery but not so thick that it'll cement to your face. I add a little honey because I have very dry skin, but I know my mom uses just yogurt and oatmeal since her skin tends to be more oily than mine.
Spread onto face, wait 10-15 minutes, then wash off with a warm washcloth, pat dry, and apply a light moisturizer if you want.
Look at all the wonderful uses of food =)
Enjoy!

gossip girl gourmet: one cup of tea please!
This is my favorite mug btw. It's from Greece and it says Santorini on the top but it's been stuck in the dishwasher too many times so it's faded a little.
Anyways, I love tea. Indian Chai with some ginger, the classic Early Grey, Jasmine Downey Pearls, and of course coffee. But I'll save coffee for another post.
Today, it was Red Rose.
When brewed to perfection (usually 2-3 minutes in boiling water), it has deep dark brown color. Add milk and sugar to your own discretion. I personally don't like super sweet tea and coffee but i know my best friend beckie loves anything sweet. We went to McDonald's today and had their one dollar sweet tea. It was very yummy. But after a while it would get kinda overwhelming.
Speaking of tea...the speaker at the NHS assembly mentioned Greg Mortensen. Author of three cups of tea. More tea! But honestly, great book, and very inspiring.
So my luvlies, I would recommend sitting down with a nice cup of tea and this book.

the wonders of chex mix
6) Pretzels!! Most people hate them. I don't, but I'd still rather eat them all first to get rid of them. Not much flavor.
5) Squiggly Bread Things -- I have no idea what any of these pieces are actually called but this is my terminology. Again, not much flavor, which is why I eat them second after pretzels.
4) White Crunchy Things -- It starts getting better around here. Eating these is a great way to annoy your parents/ friends because they crunch super loudly, even with your mouth closed.
3) Brown Chex -- Let's just face it. Brown Chex always come in second to White Chex and Brown Crunchy things. But don't feel too sorry for them. Sometimes they have a lot of flavoring and it makes them taste better.
2) Brown Crunchy Things -- They crunch! They taste amazing!
1) White Chex -- Chex Mix would make so much more money if they just sold these in a bag by themselves. I save them until the very end, because they taste WAY better than everything else in the bag.
Chex Mix also comes in other flavors ranging from the sweet, the salty, and the chocolately. Yum =)

basketball and a burger =)
*Warning* Going on a date here is dangerous. ESPN delivers a live feed of whatever sports game is currently playing from a couple flat screens near the front, and boys tend to get extremely distracted by this convenient set up.
So, luvlies, next time you're at Sanatana Row, swing by The Counter and you could have some of this..

My old dog, Moti, and I shared a very special relationship. We walked around the house togther. We explored the "forest" of five redwood trees in my backyard together. We even explored my neighbors backyard together. He crawled under the fence and jumped in their pool. I followed and almost drowned. Needless to say, my mom signed me up for swim lessons the very next day.
that's hot.
It's a spoonful of chili powder!! I love putting this stuff on all my food, as the good indian that I am. Actually, I'm a big fan of the spice tin in general. It's quite pretty don't you think?
Spice up your lives, luvlies!

honey + horney (HORN-eye) = perfect psych snack
Ingredients:
2 slices of bread
2 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 glass of milk (to wash it down)
Preparation:
Yet again, there is hardly any prep. I'm lazy. I personally hate crust so I cut that off. Then I spread the peanut butter, put honey on the other slice, mushed them together, and then ate some before I took a picture (which is why there's a bite taken out of the sandwich, oops).
Seriously super delicious. Another super awesome combo is to put bananas in the sandwich, but since I didn't have any I couldn't.
So, my luvlies, next time you're feeling dismal, thinking you're going to die of boredom while studying for a test, take a break and make a sandwich. It's pretty fun and quite rewarding =)

cleanup crew
Lu approaching the foreign substance...
Lu directing the now identified editble object towards the garbage can...
Lu acting as garbage disposal... (if you look closely you can see she's actually licking the strawberry. What an amazing photographer I am haha)

shake shake shake
1 Peeled Tangerine
For real though, you don't really need to do anything to prep. That's the genius of this yummy snack. Add more or less milk to make the shake thicker or thinner. I'm not a big fan of tasting banana in my milkshake; when it's frozen you still get all the nutrients of a banana without the taste.
The Trials and Tribulations of Peanut Butter (and Jelly)
Anyways, I'm Angeli Agrawal. I'm 18 years old, and I'm absolutely horrible at cooking. Lately, my mom has stopped making me dinner, and as a result I've had to improvise.
With my dog Lulu by my side, faithfully eating everything I drop on the floor, we invite you to come share in the trials and tribulations of peanut butter and jelly, as I attempt to cook something halfway edible and somewhat delicious.
